You have to be living under a rock in the ocean if you have no idea how divided the world has become, especially in the last week. Everyone takes a “side” in something. But many of these “sides” are nothing more than labels used to keep us from uniting with each other.
I can’t speak for all my fellow empaths, but I know the division that has been so obvious is extremely painful for me. There is a collective energy of hate and anger that is rising and infecting everyone. Stand back and look at the bigger picture to see this hidden energy.
How many times do you describe another human by what they look like or what they stand for and believe in? Or do you see the human inside of that body, hurting and struggling just like the rest of us? Do you find ways you might be similar? Or ways in which you are not?
I am sure I wear a few labels from people who don’t know me: obese, slow, crippled, crazy-haired, friendly, talkative. (These are just guesses based on what I think people might think when they encounter me in a store.) People who are acquainted with me personally might add a few more labels to that.
But, how many people look past those labels to see the human that lives inside this body? How many know the struggles that I endure daily that I don’t mention to the world? That I may not even mention to those close to me?
In our world today, we have stopped seeing others as human beings. We avoid finding similarities with each other and instead look for differences.
Empaths feel the energy in the atmosphere of the collective. And I can tell you, it’s not pretty. There is a growing energy of anger and hatred and unless we get it reined in, we will be rained on – with violence and fire and pain.
But we have to work together. We have to start to see and love our fellow humans no matter how different they seem to be. When we get to know them, we may find that they really aren’t all that much different from us.
They bleed red blood. Their feelings are hurt just as much as ours are. And, their life is just as fragile as ours is.
So let’s drop the labels and see the humans. It has to start with each of us.
Please, let me know in email or comments that you’ve heard my message. That you will do something, anything to try to bring humanity back together again. Give me at least some hope for our future.
I can’t imagine the pain if we go much further in the direction we are headed.
