Thank you to all who are still with me. You must be truly faithful readers to have stuck by me this long. The pictures above are me at various points between November 2020 and November 2021.
I know everything looks different to you all. That’s because it is all different. We’ve made some major changes with the site, changed hosts and removed ads. In the process I’ve had to export and import the files and lost all the media.
So. while I’ve restored all the old posts, I don’t think any of the links to other posts will be working in those old posts. It’s a lot of work to restore all of them and it will require time that I simply do not have available. If at some point in the future I have time to twiddle my thumbs and an internet connection with an available computer, then maybe I’ll get my fingers working on connecting all those dots.
Instead, I’m going to think of this point in time as a brand new beginning with a brand new blog. The old posts will be there for reference or just to read and remember. I may ping back to them on occasion if the occasion shows up. But, I think rather than looking back I’m just going to make a clean start and move forward from this point on.
I can’t promise a consistent posting schedule. But, being able to use the classic editor again means I can use my tablet to write posts again. There’s still the matter of time, but I’ll do my best to work on at least giving you all a post a month.
This year has been a year of me working hard on myself. I’ve been focusing a lot of attention on my physical health. Through the help of my doctors I am on a strict diet and have lost 40 pounds already. There are many more to lose, but I am a stubborn person, with my eye on the “prize”, so I will see my weight continue to go down.
I’ve also been working on my sleep issues and since August I have doubled the amount of sleep I have been getting. However, I’m still not getting enough of the deep REM sleep I need. I’ll get there there though.
I was advised to get a step counter and since August my weekly step count has also gone up naturally although it isn’t even close to what is recommended yet. But, since I have seen it naturally increase I am certain that in time there is a chance for it to at least increase to a more healthy number.
I’ve always been one who was never comfortable with change, because the changes were seldom in my favor, But, change is inevitable and we have to accept it.
Let’s see what changes are yet to come! I hope I give you reasons to remain faithful readers!
